AsianFin--A team from Northeastern University in the United States has developed a novel artificial intelligence (AI) system using web-based technology. This system has demonstrated an impressive accuracy rate of 99.72% in detecting breast cancer.
The team explained that their newly developed AI system analyzes high-resolution images and learns from historical data to identify and diagnose cancer. The system is nearly flawless in detecting tumors during biopsies and maintains consistent performance across multiple diagnoses without the fatigue that can affect human accuracy.
This AI system will assist doctors in identifying patients more quickly and accurately. Moreover, it is expected to facilitate the development of new AI models for diagnosing rare cancers that lack substantial patient data.
