Li Auto Employee Punished for Uninvited Comments on AITO

AsianFin--Li Auto, a Nasdak-listed Chinese automaker has confirmed that one of its employees posted defamatory remarks about AITO, an EV brand owned by Huawei, on social media, and has imposed penalties on the employee and their direct supervisor in accordance with company regulations.

The recent fatal accident involving an AITO M7 vehicle in Shanxi province has caused a widespread outcry on social media. AITO Motors has issued a preliminary response, and the traffic police are currently investigating the incident.

According to the punishment records, the employee’s action of engaging in discussions on negative events about competitors violates the company regulations.
